ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for 'Quality Management System Requirements'.

Sanwa Kako is committed to continuous quality improvement. We first achieved registration to ISO 9002 in 1999 and ISO 9001 in 2001. The quality system requirements under ISO 9001 are fully implemented and embedded in the culture of the company ensuring our products are manufactured and delivered to the highest standards.

ISO 14001 is the internationally-recognised standard for 'Environmental Management System Requirements'.

As a chemical-related manufacturing company Sanwa Kako is very aware of the need to manage and reduce our impact on the environment. For this reason we decided to seek accreditation to ISO 14001 in order to meet the highest standards of environmental stewardship. We obtained registration to ISO 14001 in 2003.

We have established our own environmental management system, based on continuous improvement to reduce our impact on the environment.

 Specifically, the goal of our Environmental Policy is to:

• Re-use, Reduce and Recycle (3R) waste products.
• Develop and sell ecologically-sound products.
• Handle chemicals responsibly and minimize storage requirements.
• Use energy such as heavy oil and electric power more efficiently.
• Comply with all environmental laws and regulations which apply to our activities.
• Make sure that all employees understand and are kept informed of our Environmental Code of Practice
• Publicly state our environmental policy on our web site and other documents.
