Sanwa Kako is a growing company, which is looking to be represented worldwide. We are still a family company, but we work with the giants of Japanese industry as partners and trusted suppliers. We offer the same service to customers overseas.

It is just over 40 years since we set out to become the pre-eminent supplier of polyethylene foam in Japan. Now, our foaming materials are found in such widely varying fields as home appliances, automobiles, electronics and IT equipment, civil engineering and construction, household and sporting goods. We supply large lots or small lots, customized to our customer's most demanding requirements, and on time.

Our leading brand, SUNPELCA, is a patented process for making a closed-cell polyethylene foam, with superb characteristics, which we have licensed around the world. With our expertise in foam manufacturing we are moving into synthetic rubber foam products where we see excellent opportunities for new sales growth.

We take our responsibilities to the environment seriously. In 1983, we introduced a foam material called POLYMOCK, which is made from recycled chips of SUNPELCA Buns. In 2003, we secured ISO14001 registration to ensure that our existing green credentials were fully validated by the highest international standards-setting body.
